Division 2: New in-game bug may result in lower weapon damage

Many Division 2 fans are speculating that with a recent update, a new bug has corrupted the in-game resource files which are resulting in the lower weapon damage dealt with opponents in the title.
Recently with a new update, Division 2 fans got an opportunity to experience the new World Tier 5, but many gamers have reported an issue faced by them while playing the title. It was observed that the damage dealt by a player is not correctly shown as the in-game stats showcased lower damage as compared to what players dealt in the game to their opponents.
Fans and community members reverted their feedback on the subreddit page of Division 2 and shared their issues and problems through various screenshots and recorded gameplay.
The initial suggestion was given by the Yoyuyi999 handle on Reddit calming Division 2 has a glitch in its weapon damage count interface, and players are presented with lower Damage count on visiting back their original layout.
Gamers are posting a lot of feedback calming they have scored a certain amount of damage score on their original result loadout screen, and when revisiting the result loadout, they are shown lower damage rate.
Yoyuyi999 posted a video recording which showed damage of 19,955 on original loadout screen and later on while revisiting the result loadout interface, and it showed damage of 17,212 which was quite low if compared to the previous score.
Clearly, the Division 2 title is undergoing with specific bugs and glitches which require a quick fix to resolve the proper gameplay for fans after the big update. Other players also commented that they also have tested the weapon damage drop issue and have witnessed the same damage drop in their loadout screen.
This clearly suggests that the damage drop is for real and this bug needs to be resolved as soon as possible. With the damage drop issue, players are indeed not hindered while playing a match.
Still, if a player wants to review his overall performance or check out their best score then in such a situation player clearly will face a lot of frustration and uncertainty for the Division 2 title.
Currently, players can quick fix this issue by completely shutting down the game by logging out of the game and then again re-launching the Division 2 title. By doing so players will be able to view the actual result screen and real weapon damage, but if a player tries to again re-visit the result screen, then the damage would be shown low again.
Now it is in the hands of the Division 2 developers to repair the low weapon damage bug issue and ultimately resolve the gameplay for players. On the other hand, some posts at Subreddit also suggested that many have not witnessed any such issue and their game is running smoothly.
Clearly, some players indeed facing the weapon damage reduction issue and some immediate measures have to be made to resolve this bug. It would be quite interesting to view as to will the game developers accept the existence of the bug and how soon will they address this issue.
